Operational Summary

The Middlesex Apple Orchard project is located in Middlesex, NJ and is a 6.371 megawatt DC ground mounted facility which achieved commercial operations in April 2013. The project is fully financed by KDC Solar Apple LLC with The County of Middlesex purchasing the kilowatt hour output of the facility through a Power Purchase Agreement. The solar array is for seven different county buildings located around the array in Middlesex. The land that the facility is built on is owned by The County of Middlesex. The project was built with the help of SunDurance Energy and Solar Power Inc. and completed with the highest quality.

KDC Solar Apple LLC is expecting to generate ~7,500,000 kilowatt hours from the facility which makes the facility ~96% net zero. The facility is creating green energy and saving and lowering the carbon footprint of the buildings.

KDC Solar is very pleased to have closely coordinated and cooperated with The County of Middlesex to bring this project to a reality and provide clean renewable energy at a low cost which in turn helps to create and preserve long term jobs in New Jersey.
