The Branchburg project was built on land owned by KDC Solar Branchburg LLC and achieved commercial operations in May 2014. This project required a steel encased horizontal bore under US Highway 202 to the point of interconnection. The power generated by the solar facility provides clean renewable power to Lilly and powers manufacturing, clean rooms and offices at the campus.
